CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA – May, 2014 – It was announced that the Catawba Valley Medical Center has selected Enterprise Systems Corporation to provide a Spectralink Wireless Handset Solution.  The solution is being implemented to increase patient satisfaction and increase medical staff productivity.  Included in the solution are 30 of the Spectralink 8440 handsets.  The 8440 handsets offer advanced functionality such as

text alerts and instant messaging, fully-integrated push-to-talk functionality,

on-board Web browser and standards-based developer environment.  The handsets are also ruggedized with reinforced cage design, component shock mounting and rubberized over molding.
