HOUSTON, TEXAS – April, 2003 – Enterprise Systems Corporation announced today that Finger Furniture has chosen Enterprise Systems to perform a significant upgrade of its voice network for the Houston locations. The upgrade involves the installation of a Meridian 1 Option 81C at the Corporate office, two Meridian 1 Option 11C’s and five Norstar systems at the remaining locations. Finger Furniture had mandated the upgrade of its aging voice systems and had entertained proposals from several manufacturers, including Avaya and Intertel. “Nortel’s Evergreen strategy played a role in the overall business case, since we were able to utilize approximately 30 percent of their existing hardware investment” said Sean Pyykola, Vice President of Enterprise Systems.
