Very early on in the software development process, Enterprise Systems’ builds an initial prototype of the user interface. It is this prototype that is utilized as the focal point for the remaining requirements and design of the system that is developed.
The prototype that is created isn’t just a group of screens shots or wire frames that one would expect to see, but a fully functional representation of the system. The prototype is complete with the “look and feel” that the client desires, screen navigation, and all of the web-based functionality one would expect to see in their planned system that gives the customer a true demonstration of the solution that will be delivered.
The prototype also allows the customer, on their desktop, to “play with” the application in order to provide better feedback.
